The highly anticipated opening of Terry Lee Honda in Avon, Indiana was Monday, February 2, 2009. "Our builders have did a masterful job in meeting a demanding construction schedule despite extended periods of inclement weather," explains an excited Lee. "Vehicle deliveries began in the last week of January 2009, with the showroom officially opened for business the day after Super Bowl Sunday."

The launch of Terry Lee Honda marked the culmination of a three-year planning process that began in February of 2006. Much took place during that 36 months- from securing a coveted Honda dealership franchise to scouting a premier location in a fast-growing center of commerce to the design and construction of a state-of-the-art sales and service facility to the hiring of our city's best and brightest.

Terry Lee Honda represents a personal and professional triumph for Lee, and a new source of employment and economic growth for the people of Avon. The $8 million dealership's introduction in Avon coincides with the $550 million Honda Manufacturing plant in Greensburg, Indiana, which began operation in November of 2008. A Pre-Opening phase of operation was planned for February and March with a Grand Opening occurring in the Spring of 2009. AVON, INDIANA - In anticipation of the February 2, 2009 launch of Terry Lee Honda in Avon, Indiana, Terry Lee announced the hiring of Marcus G. Schuh as General Manager of the new Honda Dealership.

Schuh's tenure in the automotive business began in 1998 and has taken him from vehicle sales to finance management to sales management to general management positions, primarily within the Tom Wood organization. Prior to entering the automotive field, he worked as owner/operator of the Lowenbrau Restaurant in St. Petersburg Beach, Florida, as well as the International Tours Travel Agency in Baden-Baden Germany.

"Marcus brought a depth and breadth of experience to his new position, along with a level energy and enthusiasm that helped us hit the ground running in February," continues Lee. "I am pleased to have found a General Manager who shares my vision of how to treat customers."

Schuh is a happily married father of three sons who now lives in Carmel, Indiana. He was born and raised in Germany and is fluent in both German and English.
